I actually think I'm in the minority in that I think Ash/Kaidan's reactions to Shepard are perfectly reasonable. Cerberus is a terrorist organization with evil scientist overlord leanings. It'd be like if <insert current hero here> went away for 2 years and suddenly joined evil science genius division of the taliban.
The thing that bothered me about the Horizon scene isn't the Alliance-- its Shepard. The responses you're given are lazy ass crap.
Option A: "Its been a long time. How've you been?" Option B: "You seem mad. Something wrong Ash?Kaidan?" Option C: (I forget what it was exactly)
Seriously? No wonder the response was pissed off. Not that it's Shepard's fault. The writers were really asleep at the switch... er, wheel.... keyboard? *shrug*
bioware was really selective for when Shep could lay on the charm and whatnot. Where are the red and blue mouse icons when we needed them? Instead all we got was "Join my crew. It'll be like old times." wtf?
Then again, I wish real life would have pop up red/blue mouse icons.
Poor Kai-Kai </3
I KNOOOWWWWWWW.
I was so unbelievably ;_; at the whole Horizon or whatever it's called scene.
I was like
KAIDAN YOU WHAT

I was all DON'T GO ;-; and he was all FUCK YOU and it was sad.
I liked his letter later though, it was definitely 'I've been brooding' and gave some depth to it.
