Oh how I miss Kaidan...
(Sadness aside) I love this. You are an amazing artist.
Arix has a skin condition known colloquially as 'skincrest,' this is why the 'follicles' for his crest are clearly visible behind the large first plate. It isn't harmful but it is pretty fugly to female turians. He is very sensitive about it.
Arix met Mirra when he left Earth in adolescence to learn more about his people. Mirra was part of the turian military, and with her encouragement, he enlisted. Mirra was killed in action just a day or so before the Normandy SR1 went down, in an unrelated incident.
After the Normandy went down several turian units were stationed on the Citadel, where Kaidan found himself spending most of his unoccupied time. The two had common ground and became fast friends.
And thaaaat's what I've got so far.
sad story, i'm suprised it wasn't as hard for arix considering he had a hard child hood and mirra was probobly his first true love. as for kaidin well he's bout the same so i can agree to the part where you said they became fast friends. XD
